Pension Survey

Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey below.  If you cannot answer all of the questions, please answer as much as you are able to.

1. Provide a list for each plan in which CWA members and other represented employees in your local participate, a summary plan description and, if available, a plan document.
2. Please provide recent reports from your pension plan’s governing board regarding funding and investments.  This may require a data request to the employer. Please include who the governing board is and how they are elected or selected.
3. Numbers of represented employees participating in each plan, as of 12/31/2008.
4. Provide a list of information on legislative efforts affecting the pension plan, both successful and unsuccessful attempts to change the plan.
5. Provide a list of state and local level political organizations or coalitions involved with state economic, tax, labor, economic or benefit issues – both pro- and anti-worker – including web addresses, etc.
6. Provide authoritative media sources (papers, web sites, and other media) which will have recorded legislative activity.

7. Explain current situation in your state and/or country which impacts your local in regards to pension and healthcare.

8. What type of support do you need from the Public, Healthcare and Education Sector office regarding pension and/or health care issues?
